Last year Ashwater was commissioned by outside publishers to write an updated and more comprehensive version of the Lost League Football Grounds book. Following extensive research, this is the result – 160 pages, 70,000 words, over 200 pictures in colour and black and white, featuring 68 lost grounds.

Many of the pictures are previously unseen nostalgic ground views from the Sixties and Seventies, as well as from later years, and there are in addition over 40 action shots taken by Ken of Fulham playing at some of these lost grounds.

For football supporters, the book is bound to rekindle memories of visits to old grounds such as The Goldstone, Ninian Park, The Den, The Manor Ground, Elm Park, and Ayresome Park; also included are more obscure grounds such as Wycombe’s Loakes Park.

The book is due to be at the printers by the time this TOOFIF comes out.

Following our agreement with Crecy, the publishers, we have a limited stock of these books, and these are offered on a 'first come, first served' basis, while our stock lasts.
